Lulu ran into a stone wall in the garden,(she went after a fox and miss timed her jump up to the higher level, a jump that she has made thousands of times) a week pst on Saturday and seriously damaged her leg. Holiday weekend, emergency Vet, bill in excess of £1,100.00 so far.

She has lost most of the skin off of her front leg and has a large open wound down to the bone. Has anyone had any experience of dogs healing up after loosing skin? There is not enough skin to close the wound and the Vet intends to continue to dress the leg and allow the wound to heal naturally.

Any info on similar problems would be appreciated.

Also all owners should read the small print on their pet insurance policies. I have cover with E and L Pet Insurance for £3,750.00 or so I thought. The small print limits any one claim to £1,000.00 so I’m not covered for all the work now being carried out by my own Vet. The Emergency Vet bill has used up all of the cover.

One for other GAL members to watch out for before they need to claim.

In cunnilingus, other than using your tongue to stimulate a woman’s clitoris, there are actually 3 techniques that may give your cunnilingus bag a few new tricks. Sometime, there need to be an essence of change so as to make cunnilingus stays interesting. Let me share with you 3 additional techniques now:

 1. Fingering. Fingering is by far the most popular accompaniment to cunnilingus. With your fingers, there are so many ways that you can stimulate your partner. But before you insert your fingers into her, make sure that she is wet enough so as to minimize pain. Whatever techniques that you use, you should also make sure that you do it slowly and gently unless she insists otherwise. Take note that you should try not to use your fingers to stimulate her clitoris. This is not a rule but a suggestion. As the clitoris is extremely sensitive, a warm, soft and wet tongue feels much better than a finger.

 1. Using toys. For really advanced cunnilingus masters, using toys during cunnilingus can definitely spice things up. Make sure that your partner is comfortable with toys first. Of course, if she is not comfortable in using toys, you should leave it at that to avoid making her feeling uncomfortable. When your partner feels uncomfortable, she will not be able to enjoy the cunnilingus session and all your efforts will go down to the drain. There are basically 2 types of toys that you can use, one that stays outside the vaginal canal, and one that goes into it. You can get a variety of sex toys from your local sex toys shop, or you can even search online and have them delivered to your home to stay discreet.

 1. G-spot stimulation. G-spot is a small bundle of nerves about two inches inside a woman’s vaginal canal. A woman can experience an orgasm from g-spot stimulation alone. However, the feeling of g-spot orgasm is different from the feeling of clitoral orgasm, and it is possible for your lover to experience both experiences at once! Having both experiences at once will be amazing and earth-shattering for a woman. To stimulate the g-spot, you must know how to find it. Insert your index finger with your palm facing up into her. Make a “come here” motion and that should pretty much do it. Apply consistent pressure onto it as g-spot reacts to pressure not touches.

With these 3 additional cunnilingus techniques, you are now better equipped to achieve cunnilingus success.

Do you know that more than 81% of women regularly achieve orgasms from cunnilingus, when compared to only 25% of them from traditional intercourse? This shows that you need to know how to give a good cunnilingus if you want to see the satisfaction from your partner. Check out my website below for more cunnilingus tips now:

Hiya folks,

Today is my wee Logi-Bear’s 1st gotcha day!!

We first met Logan while attending the Fun Day in Strathclyde Park May 8th 2011.
Due to 3 dogs being rescued from cruel disgusting conditions, we were asked to collect Logan from the kennels and take him to Helena’s home in order for him to be her foster dog.
I fell head over heels for him the second I saw him & new I had to adopt him

After almost stalking Helena for a couple of days (sorry Helena) Pepper & Meikka were introduced to Logan on the morning of 15th May 2011
Since that day, we’ve not looked back

Logan is a cheeky chappy that full of carry on, but he’s a boy that is soooooo lovable and adorable
He loves his couch (when Pepper isn’t on it lol) and loads of hugs and kisses, infact, he’s very sookie

All 3 dogs are inseparable and the very best of pals.

Happy Gotcha Day sweet-heart, here’s to many many more fun years together

We lost our beloved Springer Spaniel in November and are looking for a new dog(s) to fill the void he has left in our family. I met some greyhounds at our local Pets At Home where they were doing a fundraiser (cannot remember which charity they were from) and was very taken with the breed as were my 2 older children.

I am looking to find out some more about whether the breed will fit our family and lifestyle as I would regret very much adopting because I fell for their looks and personality and then discovering we couldn’t provide a suitable home.

Does anyone else have experience of adopting into a family setting?

My children are 4, 8 and 10 and were very caring when it came to our previous dog. We are a fairly active family and would have no problem walking dogs for 20-30 minutes twice a day. But, I would like to know though if Greyhounds are capable of building up the stamina required to be out and about with a family who like to go for longer walks. Generally speaking these are not demanding walks but we can be out walking for up to 2-3 hours sometimes and sometimes walking in the hills.

What has other owners experience been of letting greyhounds off the lead once they have settled in? Is this possible?

Can a greyhound be housed ok with a cat? We have a 16 year old cat and I notice that some of the adoption places do not let you adopt if you own a cat.

We are also caravanners and would prefer dogs that can thrive in that environment so that they can come with us and not have to be put in kennels every time we are away. Does anyone have experience of this?

What is other adopters experience of kennels for greyhounds during a 2 week summer holiday? Do they kennel well and what considerations would there be for the owner at my local kennels?

I am considering that it may be sensible to adopt two siblings or friends. I thought they might be nice company for each other when I am at work. I work 3 days a week and would be out from 8.30 until 3.30 thought I am considering changing to work 4 days when my youngest starts school in August and would be out from 9.15 to 2.45 and would then take the dog(s) to meet the kids from school.

Sorry this is long winded but I really want to make the right decision about this.

Hi Guy’s,

Just to let you all know that Hendrix is doing really well living here with Richard, Toots, Clover, Bailey and myself. He has been with us for the last 3 months and has turned out to be a real charmer he really has us all twisted around his little paw. Hendrix loves going for his walks, but doesn’t like puddles or getting wet and will do anything he can think of not to go out into the rain. He eats really well now and has stopped trying to gobble all of his meals in one go he now know’s he is going to be fed, treats wise Hendrix(or Henny as we call him)has learned to be gentle it has taken some time to teach this but he is a lot better now. Hendrix will make a family or a couple a very lovely pet, he gets on really well with children of all ages and is very gentle with dogs of all sizes.

Yesterday we saw Theo come to stay with us and so far so good, he is quite vocal when out on the lead, however I think this is pure excitement as he just wants to see and look at everything. Theo has been very good with my dogs Toots who is a Lurcher(and the doggy boss), Clover another Lurcher and Bailey our Dalmatian, he seams to have found his feet among them all. Theo even to managed to walk up and down the stairs this morning after not knowing what to do yesterday we are all so proud of him.

I will keep going with everything and the boys get on really well together witch is great, speak to you all soon I hope.
