I’m friendly and outgoing!  I have lived in Hamilton for nearly 23 years and became involved with GAL about 4 years ago. Never regretting a minute of all the hard work over the years. I’ve got 2 grown up sons, one lives in Hamilton and the other is in Vienna. I’ve been Events Coordinator for a couple of years and more recently added to this by becoming GAL’s secretary. Over the years I’ve raised quite a bit of money for GAL, which I’m quite proud of.  I don’t have a problem with asking folk for money!

Got 3 dogs - Amber who I’ve had since she was 6 months old.  She is now 9 years old. She’s a wee lurcher girl from Bothwell Bridge.  Reo is a big black gentle greyhound boy who is 5 years old, and recently added Speedy, who is a 13 year old small greyhound girl.  All adorable and all completely different! The easiest is the biggest - Reo!

Love them all!  But couldn’t do the GAL work without the support of long suffering Gus.
Seen the volunteers come and go and lots of interesting times, but the focus for me will always be the dogs.
