Jodi, Petra, and Shadow met at Bellahouston park today for a run around the dog park. It’s the first time we have seen Jodi play with other greyhounds and it was brilliant!!!!!!

They played for an hour and we had the place to ourselves. Jodi kept barking to encourage her new pals to run and they all got on really well.

They were all so muddy and tired at the end we took Jodi to get a bath at Wizard of Paws. Allison mentioned that you can take your dog there and wash them in a ‘dog bath’ - saves Jodi shaking all over the house. Great facility, I would recommend it, we hadn’t realised that was there.

Jodi is now sound asleep and smelling very fresh!

Here is a link to some videos of them running around -

Great to see them having fun Sarah. Pity it doesn’t really show how utterly filthy they ended up. We had to go get some shopping after and by the time we got back the muck had set hard!!!  They’re clean now though and fast asleep.

Look forward to the next mad runaround.

Allison

ps Anyone know of any other dog parks around?  I’m sure someone mentioned another one to me a while ago but can’t remember where she said it was.

That is so great to watch. Meg would have loved to have joined in with that; she would have given Jodi a run for her money! She was playing with a Bedlington Terrier puppy today who could hardly keep up with her! If you are ever around the west end let me know because we would love to meet up and get Meg a wee play.

Hi Laura

That would be great, happy to come to the West End for a play (Allison - would this area suit you too?)

Is there an enclosed dog area near you? I can only let Jodi off in enclosed areas.

Apparently there’s an enclosed bit at dawsholme but I’ve never found it. There’s an enclosed bit behind us but it’s only about 4 foot high. I’ll ask around about dawsholme.

Okay sounds good, I am sure Jodi would love to play with Meg! She was back to just having me today, the poor girl has been barking and jumping, but I just can’t run fast enough!!
