Collected from the loving care of her foster mum and dad on Saturday, she’s settling in nicely.  She’s still very wary because of yet another change of home, but has slipped into her routine and will come out of her shell in the fullness of time.

Delighted to hear she is settling in, it will take a little time but she will be fine.

Great to hear she is settling well. Must be so confusing for them until they finally realise that they have landed in the lap of luxury!!  lol.

Lana has the vet tomorrow, just to get her registered with the practice and perhaps more incontinence medication.  Reactions have set in,  just with the travel and change of location, so tummy is unsettled and she is on boiled rice and chicken.  Doesn’t stop her from snaffling a few of Penny’s biscuits

Had tail-wags from the time she got here and she has met a few new doggie friends and the next door neighbour!  A couple of woofs, no roaching yet but I’m sure that will happen soon.

Eric tried to put some photos on by photobucket, but not much luck - any advice/tips?

As the weather has been good, taken Lana out on a few small walks as she tires quickly just now, so that she can get her bearings. She’s such a quiet soul at the moment, the “regulars” that I’ve met when she’s been out are smothering her in cuddles (the human regulars that is!).

Shopping night tonight so it’ll be a trawl down the pampers aisle ho ho!

Lana is beautiful. She’s come from such an amazing foster home to such a loving forever home. She is one lucky girl. Give her a cuddle for us.

Bless her socks! I know what you mean about the roach, to me its a goalpost for Donnie as well, I don’t think he ever did it as a foster and I will hold a parade the day he does it at home because I’ll know he is completely at home!

How’s Lana after her trip to the vet?

Hiya,

Kept on meds for time being for the uti, tummy has settled down again and she’s inching out of her shell.  Slowly meeting the neighbours and friends, not surprizingly they too are falling under her spell lol.

She finds the car stressful as I think she thinks she’s being shifted again.

We’ve made it to the couch!  She’s coming out day by day, I invited her onto the couch with Penny on the first day but she refused.  Yesterday she got on with Penny without any coaxing.

That’s what I like to see a dog making itself at home.Sammy has never attempted to lie on our couch it’s a two seater.He makes full use of my double bed at times.Much more room for him to nest build.
