Saturday we picked up our new foster dog, Tommy from the GAL kennels.  He’s an (almost) five year old black boy who’s good with kids, other dogs and is cat safe.  Early April he was neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and fleaed and was already microchipped.  He walks well on lead and is very friendly with a super waggy tail.

He is gorgeous!

Just love the almond shaped eyes.

He will find a good home of that I am sure.

Meanwhile he is safe and comfortable and being well cared for in his foster home.

It is so good to know that GAL dogs come into the luxury of the FSRC and then move on to foster homes.

We just need lots of applications now…......

We also met Tommy at the WAG event today and you are right Laura he does have an extremely waggy tail, he is a lovely dog he should be snapped up.  Hazel he is a nice size not too big or too small.

He is so cute! he is lucky to be with you both as I know you will take good care of him until he finds a new home.
I don’t know how you foster carers do it…...I would keep them all!
Diesel is a fantastic boy, doing really well btw!

Hazel,
Tommy is classified as ‘medium’ sized for a Groo.  Beginning of April he was 29kg.  Fits perfectly in the boot of a small car wink

I met Tommy a couple of weeks ago and am a big fan, he is so chilled out and friendly. I am delighted he is doing well with the cat, he will find a home in no time.
My thanks go to Laura, and all our fosterers, your work is invaluable in helping us find the right home for our beautiful dogs.
Its hard to let them go but at GAL you know they are going to a good home.

Lucky Tommy - he looks adorable I don’t think you’ll have him long Laura. Great to hear that another dog is on the way to a new happy life, this must make up for the sadness of parting with your foster dogs. Best wishes.  Cathy
