She is gorgeous, I’m sure you had Benji the lurcher for a couple of days, the one who got hit by a car?  She could easily be his wee sister with that coat!!  I wonder, is she as cheeky? lol

She is a beautiful wee girl. What lovely expressive eyes she has.  Looks like Reo and Judy are quite happy with her presence but I noticed that Amber missed the photo-call!!!!

Willow and Shadow’s Mum

Gem is starting to come out of her shell.

She gets very excited when she hears the rattle of the leads and barks and bounces about.

Her appetite is not great, she certainly didn’t like the own brand dry complete that she came with.  So today I have tempted her with scrambled egg for breakfast and then for tea she got pasta and tinned Chappie, which she absolutely devoured.  She needs to put on a bit of weight as she is only 14kgs.

I took Gem to the vet today and she got her vaccination and nails clipped.  She is booked in for a dental on Wednesday.

She will be going to her new home at the beginning of next week as it is too soon for her to go on Thursday after a general anaesthetic on Wednesday.

Laura, Jingle & Coal

Gem went to her new home yesterday.

I took her in the train to Gourock and her new mum picked her up and off she went to Inellan.

I know she will have the most fantastic life with Cathy.  In addition she will have Charlie the greyhound and Josh the big labrador as her pals.  Plus a couple of cats.

I will be able to visit Gem when I’m in Dunoon, so although she is missed in the MacDonald house, it is only au revoir and not goodbye!
