Sunday at the Gala my foster boy Chance went to his forever home and a few hours later I got my new foster girl, Treacle.  Some of you may have seen Treacle at the Gala.  She briefly went home with Andy (who adopted my foster girl Sandy) and although Treacle had been fine with my cat (got hissed at then went to lie down), she took a run at their cat Fluffy (our cat is a bit younger and much meaner than Fluffy). We did another cat introduction with Treacle who was still not bothered by our cat Mimi (they sniffed noses - Treacle muzzled - Mimi hissed and Treacle went to lie down) but we’re proceeding with caution just in case.
Treacle is about 4 years old and has already been vaccinated, boostered, flea and worm treated, microchipped and had her dental. She’s still a bit nervous, getting use to being a house dog but is a sweet girl and has ‘Rosie ears’ when trying to look alert

Laura, Jingle, Coal & Treacle

Treacle is absolutely beautiful. I hope everything works out with the cat. She is in the very best of hands!

I love Treacle, she has a look of mischief in her eyes. Like the one of her ignoring the boys..don’t be fooled I watched her parade herself like a right little hussy in front of centre new boy Charlie last week, lol.
Fingers crossed Mimi keeps her in check.

Let’s hope it’s not too long until Treacle goes to her forever home, but in the meantime she is in a great foster home.

Treacle Update:
She’s doing great with the cat.  I actually had to save her from the cat a few days ago.  Treacle wanted to walk through the door to the kitchen and our cat Mimi stood in the doorway and wouldn’t let her pass (Jingle and Coal got by as they’ve learned to ignore the cat’s bullying). We’re still keeping a close eye on her when the cats around but partially to protect her from the cat!

I’ll be bringing Treacle to the Paws in the Park this Sat (4th) where she is looking forward to meeting the public and hoping that she might find her forever home
