The lovely people at Pets at Home, (well, Jackie) have invited GAL to hold an awareness day at the Coatbridge store.

All well behaved dogs, and owners!  are welcome to come along and let the public meet some wonderful greyhounds and lurchers.

It would be especially nice to have some homeless hounds along as it is good socialisation for them.

Look forward to seeing you next Saturday,11th September, between 12noon and 4pm.

If there is anything you would like to order from the GAL shop, Elaine will endeavour to bring it along to the event.

Parker and Lloyd will be there - hopefully for 11am.  I’m hoping they’ve managed to cover the rabbit enclosure a bit more successfully this time as our 2 are a bit partial to the bunnies! Richard made me visit the same pets at home last year to introduce me to greyhounds as I hadn’t met any before, and look at us now!

I’ll not be there until about 11.30am, but would appreciate help with holding Judy whilst I unload the car.  Or even help to unload my car!

We had a brilliant afternoon at Pets at Home, Coatbridge.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and just loved seeing all our lovely dogs.

The shop took in £158.50 and the collecting can £102.50.

Huge thanks to all the volunteers who turned up with their lovely dogs.

We look forward to the next visit to Pets at Home.
