We met up with Lea on Friday and collected Robbie, he has settled in really well.  No problems with our other two, Cassie the greyhound and Dillon the lurcher.  Robbie loves his food and his walks, no problems whatsoever, it feels as though he has been with us months.  We had a lovely walk onto the moors today, he loved it.
So pleased he has joined our family, many thanks to everyone involved at GAL for co-ordinating it all, we are so grateful.  Special thanks of course to Robbie’s foster Mum for all her care the in last few months.

Its so nice to see Robbie, I played a small part in his transportation and in the short time I spent with him I thought he was such a lovely big boy.  Looks like you’ve landed on your feet Robbie hope you all have a wonderful life together.

Delighted to hear Robbie is settling in so well with Cassie and Dillon. I’m sure he has lots of exploring to do in the coming weeks, he’s one lucky lad. You sure have an eye catching pack Susan, I bet they turn a lot of heads.

Robbie has now been with us a week today, he has settled so well.  Such a happy boy, seems to love the company of Dillon and Cassie.  Robbie is very loving and affectionate, now wagging his tail a lot, gets very excited when we get ready to go out for a walk.  Loves to watch me working in the kitchen preparing his food, now putting a little weight on and filling out a bit.  Enjoyed a brush yesterday, he has a lovely coat.  Loves all the big dog beds we have, has tried them all out now.
We are so happy that Robbie has joined our family and love him so much, thank you to all those that made it possible.

Robbie had a day out yesterday at our local Pets at Home store.  As Robbie is getting on I would not take him to any fundraising events which were outside this time of year as it is too cold, but our local Pets at Home store are very accommodating.  We were inside the store and Robbie had a nice comfy blanket and plenty of food to keep him going.  Yesterday The Blue Greyhound was raising money for Whitehall Dog Rescue.  Robbie really enjoyed it and loved all the attention, lots of children cuddled and stroked him and he had plenty of soft treats which he loves.  He really took it all in his stride and was not nervous at all.  I took him round the store to choose his own treats, the manageress told me that there was no need to pay and Robbie could have whatever he wanted!  As the store also has a veterinary surgery within it, Robbie also met lots of other dogs without any problems at all.  He even walked past the rabbits without any reaction!! I was so proud of him.
Robbie had a great day out and even brought some treats home for Cassie and Dillon.

Robbie sounds like a marvellous ambassador. He’s such a gorgeous boy it’s no wonder he won the manageress over with his charm! I hope you had a good day fundraising and people gave generously.

Robbie has been part of our family for about 6 months now.  He has settled in really well without any problems at all.  He loves having a run with both Cassie and Dillon.  His real personality is now emerging, he can be quite assertive at times, just loves his routine, tells me off if I am a few minutes late with his meal or walk!
This picture was taken yesterday, as you can see Robbie has filled out a bit.
