Great British Greyhound Walk
21 June 2010
The Greyhound Awareness League took part in the first national Great British Greyhound Walk on Sunday 20th June 2010.
GAL supporters met at Rouken Glen park with their lovely hounds and had a stroll in the sunshine, turning a few heads as the procession got underway.
Thirty three rescued greyhounds and lurchers at Rouken Glen took the national total so far to 1446! Dogs who would have had a bleak future, if any, all looking wonderful and enjoying being out in the sunshine.

The next GAL monthly walk is on Sunday 4th July at 11am in Strathclyde park, meeting at the Bothwellhaugh pavilion car park.
