Howwood Fete Success!

What a marvellous day out the Howwood Fete was! There was ice cream, fun fair rides for the kids, free wine for those who wanted it and of course the Greyhound Awareness League stall complete with a wonderful array of top quality merchandise and gorgeous greyhounds!
The dogs out to meet the public were Brock, Dan, Molly (now Kitty), Addie, Meg, Tag, big Pilgrim, Tess and of course the highlight of the day, little Petra! GAL’s youngest and cutest girl!
All the dogs were laid back and enjoyed basking in the lovely sunshine, and in the case of Pilgrim and Brock sharing in the ice cream.
It was a chance for greyhound coats and collars and leads to be purchased, as well as mugs, pens and silverware. The amount taken was £154, which is a welcome addition to GAL’s coffers.
Many thanks to everyone who came along to help out, Ian and Laura once again came by train with their girl and waggy Taggy and others gave up their Saturday to fly the flag for the dogs too.
Of course, the event would not have been possible without Christine and Robert organising our presence at the event and the hard work of Melissa and Martin for setting up the stall.
Thank you!
