Monthly Dog Walk

We are pleased to announce that the first monthly dog walk of 2012 will be held on Sunday 5th February. We’ll be meeting in the usual place of the Bothwellhaugh Pavilion Car Park in Strathclyde Park (which is first right as you enter the park from the Bellshill/Bothwell roundabout) at 11am. We would like to start the walk promptly so if you wish to catch up with human and canine friends please arrive a bit earlier!
If you wish to find out more about these lovely dogs and meet some of our wonderful homeless hounds please speak to one of our volunteers, wearing a red tabard, who will be all too happy to answer your questions.
Some of our more energetic supporters and hounds like a brisk walk around the loch (approx 3.5 miles) whilst others prefer a more relaxed leisurely stroll along the shore. However far you wish to walk, you’ll find yourself in good company.
Please remember to wrap yourselves and your dogs up warm.
We look forward to seeing you on the 5th February and on the first Sunday of each month throughout 2012.
