Pets at Home Photos
06 February 2010
Volunteers were out in force today at Pets at Home, Hamilton to raise awareness of retired greyhounds, and hopefully encourage people to consider them as family pets.
We had lots of lovely dogs in attendance: Maddie, Mika, Sammy & Tilly, Cole, Meg & the lovely gentle homeless hound Parker.
Of course the icing on the cake was Dasher, who came along straight from puppy training class, where he is without a doubt the best pupil in the class! Dasher is GAL’s youngest recruit and his mum Janette is doing a wonderful job with him. We were all thrilled to get a look at the little lad today and rumour has it that he will be at Strathclyde Park tomorrow morning.
Pets at Home staff were as always very welcoming and we really enjoy holding events in their Hamilton store.
The amount of money taken for merchandise sold was £36 and £66.22 was put into the collecting can.
Many thanks to everyone who stopped to say hello to the dogs.
